Far-sighted policy : Cultivation of researchers

The Foundation has inherited the will of Dr.Tenji Taniguchi as the founding and pioneering father of the Foundation, “The plan for the year is planting rice, that for ten years is planting trees, and that for 100 years is planting humans”.

The“Taniguchi Memorial Fellowship”as a fellowship project was initiated in 1962, annually cultivating young excellent researchers.

In addition to this system, the Foundation aids Osaka University and affiliated organizations to the development of the science and technology.
