The Research Foundation for Microbial Diseases of Osaka University, (Head Office: Suita, Osaka; Director General: Koichi Yamanishi) would like to express its most sincere sympathy to victims of The 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake　which continue happening since 14 April, 2016.

We decided to donate 5 million JPY to assist victims and support recovery efforts through Japanese Red Cross Society. Additionally we conduct an employee matching gift, a contribution from the foundation that matches contributions to the organization by employees.

We deeply hope the earliest possible recovery in affected areas.
