BIKEN Recognized as an Outstanding Company for Promoting Cancer Control in FY2025

BIKEN has been recognized as an “Outstanding Company for Cancer Control Promotion” for FY2025 under the Cancer Control Promotion Company Action, a program commissioned by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW).

As part of its initiative to promote cancer control, the MHLW aims to increase participation in workplace cancer screening, foster a positive attitude toward cancer prevention, and encourage companies to actively promote the importance of cancer screening, with the goal of achieving a 50% cancer screening participation rate.

We have achieved a high cancer screening participation rate by providing information on cancer, offering financial assistance for health screenings, and supporting employees with screening appointments. We have also established a supportive and flexible work environment and systems to help employees continue working if they develop cancer.
